The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower
We love blogs that take a creative approach to capturing the essence of travel and The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower is no exception. If you’re a fan of Paris, France and travel photography, this blog is certain to keep you coming back for more. The blog’s creator and author, Vivian, notes that the goal of this blog is to share the magic of the city virtually with readers around the world who “ache either to visit it again or inspire a desire among Paris never-have-beens to visit the most beautiful city in the world and see for it for themselves.” And don’t worry, we’re pretty sure the Eiffel Tower will still be there for you to see despite the name of this Blog of the Week Image may be NSFW.

Why We Love It
There are a variety of ways to capture the sights and sounds of a city, and Vivian’s photos on The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower do that and more. Readers have noted to Vivian that the blog is highly addictive for conveying her love for Paris through photos (all of which are her own) and through her “humor-laced anecdotes and pithy little commentary.” We couldn’t agree more. Each post is accompanied by commentary and thoughts that any traveler can appreciate. They’re also a great way to see Paris from a new angle and through the lens of a traveler intent on capturing each of its nuances. For a city like Paris, which sees more than its fair share of travelers and tourists, we love coming across blogs that shed new light on culture, places to see, and adventures to be had. The imagery alone on The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower makes that clear. Not to mention, the blog comes to readers from a writer and traveler bold enough to admit she stole the Eiffel Tower. Impressive AND entertaining.
